David's Journal

Danger Zone Germany

11 January 2011

Ravensburger, my German publisher, sent through the paperback editions for the Danger Zone series. The books now have a completely different look than the original hardcover editions (which also had excellent art work). I placed these new covers side by side and they are strikingly good! And the titles have been kept in English! what a great makeover, and combined with the publisher's video promotion( with the original art work - see the Danger Zone page - http://www.davidgilman.com/dangerzone/max-gordon/dangerzone-trailer-german/) is a pleasure to see. Thanks everyone. It's great.

Sharon Maggott Hi Mr Gilman

I have reread all of my Danger Zone books several times now!

Are there going to be more Max Gordon?

David Gilman responded:

Thanks for your email. It's always nice to hear from someone who has enjoyed the books. Did you read the German edition or the English? My German publishers have done a wonderful job with the book covers and they have just brought out the paperback editions and I think these new covers are the best I've seen anywhere in the world - (so far.)

At the moment there are no plans to do any more Danger Zone series.

I've just realised what country you're from - fabulous place SA - I have many friends there and visit whenever I can.
